Alabama plays 4 of their first 5 games @home so that def. sets Alabama well to start the season. Pretty easy schedule if you ask me. Playing on the road 1h of year much more difficult than playing on road 2h of year. Alabama only has 4 road games all year. 2nd half of the schedule is more difficult but they should have worked out their kinks by then. Sets up nicely for Alabama.
Thanks for the nice words Master Capper and Flapjack. I appreciate it. However I disagree with you about my posts being off topic/too pro USC/ or pro Pac 10. Why is it ok for someone else to slam a conf. and not ok for someone to defend it? Look at all my posts in every thread, they are related to the topic and usually are replying to what someone "else" said. If I am replying to someone else's statement, and I often put their quotes right before my reply, how am I off topic? Doesn't make sense. If I am off topic, others are as well.
All in all, this is the off-season so anything goes related to CFB, but I could argue that debating conf. and debating teams is beneficial to handicapping. It especially is beneficial in the off-season because otherwise this place would be a ghost town!
