Very rarely post plays, but I am a regular to the site and tip my cap to this site and all the ridiculous cappers around here! The best site around, hands down.
I am a die hard/season ticket holder New England Patriots fan. Living in Boston, the media frenzy around the turmoil at Gillette this week has been like nothing I have ever heard or seen in my life when it comes to the Patriots. From Tom Brady trade talks, to BB being as miserable as I have ever seen him, to the rumor one of our starting WR being inactive the last few weeks because of a shouting match he got into with Josh McDaniels, to caller after caller after caller calling into local sports talk radio this week stating the Patriots are in a state of disarray, it's been a wild week to say the least.
Tom Brady is certainly on the decline, as hard as it is to see watching this guy this year, he's been the greatest Boston athlete of all time, hands down. He certainly doesn't have the weapons he did 3 years ago, and their offense has struggled, but at the end of the day with all the public criticism he's taken this week he's still Tom Brady.
With that all said, an undefeated Cincy team comes to Gillette Sunday night, off a bye. The Patriots are a different team at home, and I think after seeing what the fans at Arrowhead did on Monday night, Gillette will be a similar environment on Sunday evening. The last time the Patriots were home dogs was last year against Peyton and the Broncos, and we all know how that ended.
The Patriots are in a situation I have never seen before in my life, and I think they absolutley roll Sunday night.
Prediction: Pats 31 - Bengals 20
I hate the GOY title line, but I am going XXL, as large as I go.
It's been a brutal week, but in Bill and Tom we trust.
I see the Pats as a 1 - 2 point favorite by Sunday.
Pats +1 $1,100 / $1,000
