Update: This is GCU's first game outside of Phoenix. It has played eight games at GCU Arena and one at Talking Stick Resort Arena. This should be the Antelopes' toughest test to date. ... Boise State's only loss was to Iowa State (75-64) in South Carolina on Nov. 19. It has won five in a row since then, and has scored more than 70 points in each of its past four games. ... The Broncos have four players in double-figure scoring, led by 6-foot-6 sophomore G Justinian Jessup (15.3 points) and 6-7 senior G Chandler Hutchison (14 points, 8.6 rebounds). ... To start December, Boise State went into Eugene and ended Oregon's 46-game home-court winning streak ? which was the nation's longest at the time ? on Lexus William's buzzer-beating, half-court shot, giving the Broncos a 73-70 win.

Broncos ready to face Grand Canyon Wednesday

The Broncos have two remaining nonconference games on their schedule. They will face Grand Canyon University this Wednesday night at Taco Bell Arena at 7:00 pm. Then on Monday, they face SMU.

Coach rice has been preaching all year that he wants a packed house for his team, and it should be as they are off to their best 10 game start in school history.

Boise State is 9-1 on the year and they hold an impressive nonconference home winning streak that currently sits at 23 games which is the longest in the mountain west and the 12th longest in the nation.

Add it all up and there is no better time to watch this team ball out on the court against grand canyon on Wednesday.

"They have got a really nice club and I think this is an NCAA tournament team and that's why it's so important for us to have a great game and a great crowd and a good atmosphere. This is a big one for us,? said Head Coach Leon Rice.

Wednesday's match-up will be a special one as Grand Canyon is coached by "Thunder Dan" Majerle who played 14 years in the NBA. He is in his 5th season with the Antelopes who are 6 and 2 on the year.
