Agents are just leaches who siphon off money. Getting rid of them is like stepping on cockroaches.

True, just like any other salesperson in America. We should get rid of them all - car dealers, telemarketers, any sales associate at any store. Basically any person who sells anything should be gotten rid of. With the internet today, who needs 'em??

Yea, Duff, that will improve the unemployment problem that Obama has already made much worse.

Sometimes you don't think - your mouth just spouts out insults and non-sense. Not good. No value or credibility for you. No soup for you!

And everyone here, even the more reserved members, are recognizing that.

I'm glad you see the light, Maggot. The more deadwood we get our of the system, the better.

Insurance agents who become unemployed? You already answered that. Let them move to China.:0074 :mj07: :mj07:

Now, that is interesting. You want to get salespeople out of the entire retail system, as they are dead wood.

So, that would make me believe that you'd want to also put an end to Medicaid, Food Stamps, unemployment insurance, etc. Using the same logic you showed above, these folks on the entitlement programs as "dead wood" - they don't produce anything or add to our economy. They just are a drag and add to costs.

You are finally coming around - I'm so proud of you! :toast:

But the big question is - if we get rid of entitlements, how the heck will you live without your monthly entitlement income stream???? :mj07:
Oh, wait, we didn't include Medicare and Social Security in the above, so I guess you'll still get by......

See ya later, old timer!

I know it's difficult for you, Maggot, but at least try to keep up.

Insurance policies can be written in plain English, and along standard lines (such as is done with Medicare supplemental policies).

When people can read and understand what Insurers are offering, then agents serve no useful purpose. They are an unnecessary expense, paid from policyholder premiums.

They need to find work which contributes real value to society. They can flip burgers or build bridges or teach school.

Of course there will be a few, like you, so utterly incompetent that the rest of us will have to give you hand-outs to survive.

When Obama pushed through the "stimulus" and bailed out the automakers, he promised that this would keep unemployment at 8% or less.

We are now well over 9%.

Could you please provide a link showing Obama PROMISING what you claim he PROMISED? Thanks.

And, just for proper perspective, in Bush's last month of office, unemployment was at 7.1%, and it was rapidly going up. Obama took over the Presidency when the economy was heading straight for the shitter, and everyone knew the unemployment numbers would probably go up because of it. So, it's not like it could POSSIBLY be all Obama's fault, for someone looking at the situation objectively.
