watching Providence beat Pittsburgh last night. What a atmosphere! I'm mainly a baseball and football guy, but I will maintain, there is not many events with a atmosphere like a college basketball game of this nature. Speaking of sold out arena, with underdog taking down nationally rank team. Maybe heavyweight fight years ago, but those days are long gone. That's what makes NCAA tournament so great in baskets. The ability of the underdog to occasionally upset the overwhelming favorite.
Providence is no slouch, they are the only team in NCAA that start 5 1000 point scorers. However they have under achieved this season. If they get in the tournament, they could do some damage. But still, what a game to experience.:00hour
