The guy made damn good money carring around a bag of club, and probably got some of Tigers leftovers on top of it. He should just shut the fuck up............:0003

Could not agree more. He is acting like a complete douchebag, and if he was miserable the last two years, why the fawk was he still with him. I hope he keeps it up, because the tides will surely turn sooner rather than later.

He wants to make it about him and I hope Tiger doesn't take the bait. Although, he evidently likes a little "bait" every now and then.:142smilie

I must be out of touch with reality (Of course, I also didn't think Michele Obama's "first time I've been proud" quote was too far out of line. LOL). What's so bad about what the caddie said? He didn't mention TIGER at all. He caddied for an apparent big underdog and won. He probably heard a lot of whispering and innuendos which weren't favorable to him or even true since he got fired. I look at it as a player who gets released from a team like the Red Sox or Yankees and leads a team like Tampa Bay to World Series. Actually interviewer wasn't doing his job by not mentioning TIGER, since that's the issue everyone wants to know. Just my opinion,:popcorn2 I could be wrong. More comments will probably follow, and I guess he probably should have THANKED Tiger on his own without being asked, but he's a caddy not a script writer :0008

I don't see this as "classless"

And this quote shows how jaded the "journalist" is:

but he proclaimed that a World Golf Championship was greater than 13 major championships with one of the best players in the history of the game.

Actually, he didn't claim that at all. He said it was the greatest "week" of HIS life.

That, in no way, is comparing the gravity of one tournament to another.

I haven't been following the over-arching story, but based on this particular source I don't have a problem with what he is saying.

The manner in which SW has comported himslef publicly since he was fired has been less than "classy". He could learn a thing or two from Tiger, who has seemingly taken the high road.

Actually he said it was the best win of his career. Read/watch the whole interview.

Steve Williams needs to build a bridge and get the fuck over it.

Maybe one of those "weeks" is a "win." Heck if i can understand the guy. Really I could give a crap about the guy or even Tiger. The only time I care about golf is when I'm playing it.

He definitely said this was the greatest win of his career.

"I've been caddying for 33 years and that's the best week of my life ... and I'm not joking," Williams said. "... There were a lot of expectations today. I'd be lying if I didn't say I was a little nervous. Obviously, Adam was leading the tournament and there was a lot being said this week, so it was great to back it up. ... But honestly that's the best week of my life; I've caddied for 33 years, 145 wins now, and that's the best win I've ever had."

Is there a different interview than the one link posted?

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW

AFTER FURTHER REVIEW

BUCS NOT YUCKS AND OTHERS:
UNTIL HE GOT FIRED I DIDN'T KNOW WHO STEVE WILLIAMS WAS  , BUT AFTER TALKING TO MY FRIENDS WHO FOLLOW GOLF, HE OBVIOUSLY HAS A HISTORY OF BEING THE PERSON THAT YOU AND OTHERS ARE CLAIMING. MY OPINION WAS BASED ON THE SHORT INTERVIEW. :0008

I STILL THINK PEOPLE CAN'T "JUDGE" THE IMPORTANCE OF ONE ACHIEVEMENT OVER ANOTHER FOR SOMEONE ELSE.
