4 units Michigan +4 Just can't see Purdue recovering from that loss last week. Teams that lose their first game of the year this late in the season have a rough time rebounding the next week. Purdue's offense has struggled the past few weeks. A lack of a consistent running game has hurt the Boilermakers. Defense is not as strong as their teams in the past. Michigan's game last week versus Illinois was deceiving as they were totally dominant. Take the Wolverines for 4 units.

4 units Texas Tech A night game at home with an improving defense versus the running game. Texas getting no production in the passing game look for Tech to win big this weekend. Texas a very overrated team this season. Texas Tech -1 for 4 units.

Miami Hurricanes -7.5 for 3 units. Just can't see NC State scoring in this one. Last weeks game was a wake up call for the Canes. Looking for the Canes defense to set up scores for the offense.

Louisianna Tech -2 for 3 units Tech has played a tougher schedule than UTEP. This is Tech's final home game and I feel everyone is looking at last weeks win versus Hawaii for UTEP. Tech in a double digit win.

Minnesota -17 Emotional situations in this game as the Illini are terrible the week after Michigan. Minnesota rebounds in a big way this weekend.
2 units on the Golden Gophers.

Troy State +23 versus LSU Troy a scrappy team and I don't see LSU getting up for this one at all.

Wisconsin -12 Weather will be a factor today as it is rainy and windy. Badgers have practiced well this week and have handled the spread offense well this year. Defensive co ordinator Bielama has made a big difference since coming from K-State. This years team speed in the defensive backfield is a lot better. Posted this game today as I was waiting to see if the injury to Davis was going to be a factor. Last years game was played after the Badgers lost to Purdue on a last second field goal and the badgers were emotionally down. The Badgers have very good wideouts and should be able to attack the weak Wildcats secondary. After some of the statements the Wildcats made last season how the Badgers played dead. Look for Wisconsin to try to run up the score. Northwesterns victories have all come at home their only 2 road games were at TCU where they lost and a blowout at Minnesota. The Wisconsin Badgers for 4 units.

Houston +6.5 All you have to do is look at the TCU defense I'll take my chances with the 6.5. Neither team plays defense the last team with the ball wins. Cougars 2 units
