GB (-3) over Seahawks

I am looking at GB and I see 3 RB's that will gert carries tonight. Davenport and Fisher will see the majority, but they are capible for production. QB I'm sure Couch will get the call because the pack already have faith in Doug Pederson(sp). On the seahawks side, the worry I have is with Senaca Wallace, he is a speedster that can make plays. Seahawks lost some key personel on the D-line and new signing Winstrom is most likely not going to play. I hope Dilfer gets the majority of the snaps in the 2 and 3rd, leaving 15 mins for Senaca. Both teams will have problems on defense but IMO green bay has more talent in their second and thrid stringers.

TB (-3) over Cincy

Looking at TB they have made changes on defense, and tonight they have to get a look at the new starting faces. Offensively after Johnson goes out the Bucs have Griese and Simms. Looking forward to seeing Gardner and Alsott together, both are punishing backs, that finish there runs. I think the buc's just have too much offensive depth for the Cincy defense. I have heard great things out of TB about rookie LB Cooper, he will get a lot of action tonight. Carson palmer will have his first snaps against an NFL defense tonight and Tiffin will more than likely blitz him.

Side note
Only four home teams have lost their pre-season opener(St.L, SD, 49ers and Washington). Two of the 4 were in OT. SD and San Fran put up great shows each losing by three. I think there is some magic left at home!

AP Report:

Four projected Seahawks starters to be sidelined

CHENEY, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks will will have four projected starters on the sidelines when they open pre-season play Monday night at Green Bay.

Coach Mike Holmgren announced that injuries will sideline All-Pro offensive guard Steve Hutchinson (calf), wide receiver Koren Robinson (quadricep) and defensive end Grant Wistrom (foot).

Star offensive tackle Walter Jones won't play because he has yet to sign and report to camp.

Holmgren says fourth-string quarterback Seneca Wallace will play most of the game after starter Matt Hasselbeck makes a brief appearance.

Number two quarterback Trent Dilfer and Number three quarterback Brock Huard have not been practicing due to back spasms. They won't be playing on Monday. Holmgren says newly signed rookie quarterback Bryson Spinner may play at the end of the game.

That's good news, even though I think Seneca is a great athlete I don't think he has the skill to beat GB first team D. With that being said, If Pederson gets a lot of time it shouldn't be too much of a set down for the offense. He is no Bret Favre but he knows the offense in and out and can run it. Couch has shown in Cleveland he can make some good play, he can also make terrible ones, but against the other teams 4th string I like the guy that has seen NFL action.
