The season is finally upon us in a way. Yanks and D rays still have two exhibition games to go when they come stateside, but somehow they are playing two meaningful games in Japan. Explain that one Selig as soon as you are done fixing the all-star game and the steroid mess.

The game yesterday morning was 8-3 drays, and I think too much is being made of this mess. Not ONE player wants to be there, that is a fact.....except maybe Matsui. But there is the needless worrying from Yankee fans already worried that their team won't win 120 which they won't. The media is hyping up how disgusted Steinbrenner was with his teams performance, but I will tell all of you now, the yanks achilles heal will be pitching all year.

Yanks are more than likely going to win tomorrow or today or however the hell you look at it. But I wouldn't touch that chalk with your money. I don't play over 150 as a principal and I'm not touching over 200 for sure.

My first play of the season will be the under 9.5 Brown has a big advantage first time around the american league. When healthy hes a big time gamer. I would choose him in the top 5 of any pitcher pitching a big game for me if healthy. And all reports are that he is healthy. If he can go 6 and into the 7th this game will stay under IMO. None of the current TB roster has many at bats against Brown and those that have do not hit him well. The Yankees haven't had much experience with Gonzalez either. Jeter and Lofton hitless in 6 at bats combined, Matsui 1-5, and AROD 0-6, Posada 0-3. Giambi is 2-1 with a jack and Sheffield is a scary 3-4 with a bomb. That means if we can keep the runners off base and not a lot of rbi opportunities we should be okay with the under.

***** Gorman gets the call behind the plate. Lifetime 3-1 with Kevin Brown on the hill. Yet to call a game with Gonzalez. 4-6 yanks in their games, 3-5 tb in their games. Gorman is 3-1 for the big chalk favorites last year. His first year up he was an over ump, but for the last 3 years has been a majority under ump going 13-19 o/u last year. In games between 9-11 runs, the o/u is 7-10.

Everyone else says it and i'll chime in, money management is the key to a 6 month season, so take it slow to start for the first six months cause there are gonna be plenty of games everyday.

Good luck to everyone and hope you all have a good year.
