Looks like another hitter's ump on paper but he lets pitchers pitch in tight ballgames as his records on totals indicate...His O/U record up to 8.5 runs is 4-9, 4 overs/9unders which is a good indicator that he'll give good pitchers respect in the strike zone. Oakland is not a questec park? Right? When the total is 9 and up his record is: 9 overs/6 unders. Pedro and Zito should get respect although I don't know if either pitcher has a personal history with Gibson.
