Hudson Valley area.....NY
Loy Md - over High Point ****
Greyhounds in a bad losing streak.Collins is No 3 in the nation in scoring and 2nd in 3 pt shots made with 98.No one else avg in double d's.Tuck and Fofana can rebound.HP has a stud in Ried.Big South conf is a step below MAAC .HP is around .500 and also on a losing binge. They beat VMI the other day and scored 100.But VMI,I think is the worst team in the nation.
HP on the rd has lost to Radford by 19,Coastal by 20,etc.Can't see them hanging with the Greyhounds. But Loy cannot play defense. That scares me a little. They avg 78 but give up 80.In last 5 MAAC games they have given up 85,100,86,89, and 86.
They are 6-4 at home but think HP who will score won't be able to score enough.I see a 85-70 game.

Albany plus over VCU **
This play is with the heart.I know Coach Brown and his father who also was a HS coach in NY.Will coached at Sullivan CC before he went to Albany. He has done a great job there. They are 11-2 in Am.East.Has a team that has really gelled the past 3 weeks. He has a gd Jamar Wilson that could start for the Cuse.Jordan from Loy md,the other Wilson are solid. One of his best players Levine can't start anymore because theres no room.Siggers the Texas kid is on fire. And the big 7'0 German Zoeller who isn't the most mobile person but takes up a lot of room. They played a pretty good non-league sch vs UCLA,Florida. lost to Siena in OT earlier on in the season.I think they would beat them today.Have dominated the conf.Did lose to Vermont by 12 away but Wilson was in foul trouble.
VCU has lost 3 of 4 but they are 11-1 at home. And that scares me a lot vs the Danes.VCU is capable of beating good teams at home. They beat ODU the other nite by 4.But they only beat W&Mary by 9,Drex by 2.Big RPI difference with 65 playing 134.Conf's are 10th vs 27th.But lets not forget Vermont lyr from this conf.George is tough.Pellot-Rosa can score.VCU's top 4 of 5 scorers are gds.Danes are also gd oriented.
Not a strong play but I think Brown will have his Danes ready for tonite. And VCU will see a scappy, talented hungrey team.

Penn - over Columbia ***
Last month Penn beat the Lions 87-55.No one scored in double d's.Jaaber,Zoller, etc are to much.Penn plays defense and can score.

Akron plus over Nev **
Nev will have trouble with all those Zip gds.I think this game will be close as long as Faz is controlled somewhat.
Cinncy - over Prov **
Prov is trouble tonite. These bearkats are tough.

Harvard - over Brown **
Brown w/o Ruscoe on the rd where they have lost by 15,17 and 14 to Prin,Penn and Yale.

Yale - over Dartmouth *
Yale on the rd is terrible. But Dartmouth at home is even worse.

Welcome Back

Welcome Back

Glad to see you back posting.

I was looking at Albany tonight although I'm a bit worried about this being their 3rd straight game on the road. But something tells me that they will keep it close in a nationally televised game. That's a rare opportunity for them.

Riding a 6 game winning streak will hopefully give them confidence to pull this one out SU, but I'll gladly take the points just in case.

Best of luck!
