His new draft segments are the most moronic thing ever. I would love to see one of the prospects tell him to shut the fuck up and get up and leave.

I haven't seen them but quite a few football writers & experts have given it high praise & even suggested that ESPN should make this a regular type of thing. Gruden is very highly thought of within football circles, especially in the development of offenses.

I've watched a few minutes of it and all he does is poke fun at these prospects. He just got done telling Spiller what a pussy he is. The other day he was ripping on Clausen and making him look like a fool. Clausen just sat there and took it. I know the prospects can't blow up on him for fear of losing draft stock but these segments are just plain worthless.

The experts are saying that the 1st round of this draft has the best prospects since the '83 draft & this is one of the deepest drafts in the history of the draft.
Yes I am excited about the moves....Peppers instantly makes the D-Line better, which theyve struggled the last 2 years with pressure...Taylor will help light a fire under Forte
But not having Ron Turner and the other worthless offensive staff and inserting Mike Martz and Mike Tice are the biggest moves the bears made....fixing the offensive line and FS position are now the top priorities....
and atleast you guys have a pick in the first rd, with this draft being so deep, you will get a good selection..bears dont select til 75:scared

College kids are fools to an NFL Veteran SB coach...thats the point...hes being critical of some of the things they do instead of kissing their ass...its a raw look for us viewers to see these college superstars in a vulnerable state but at the same time these kids are learning from an nfl offensive mind

I watched a few minutes and all it appeared to be was a show about how smart Gruden is. No thanks. He called Spiller a pussy and made Clausen basically admit to the audience that he was a moron. I turned the show off. I don't see the value in it.

So when Jimmy Clausen sat down with Jon Gruden for his Sportscenter QB camp special, there were plenty of eyeballs still evaluating the Notre Dame quarterback.
"There are these nagging concerns about what kind of kid is he and the other night people around the league were talking about this," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said this morning on the Dan Patrick Show. "He threw his wide receiver under the bus. And quarterbacking 101 is you take responsibility. Everything is your fault."
Mayock said that caused some to wonder, "People look at that go 'wow'. Is that what we're getting?"
Mayock thinks the Gruden interview could hurt Clausen, which was the point Florio made a few days back. No one can figure out where Clausen will land, with a few big names thinking a slide to No. 30 is possible.

It seems to me that Gruden is an egotistical douche with these kids.
I watched the Claussen thing and was rooting for Claussen to just tell him to shut the fuck up.
Yeah but waiting til 30th will take forever.. Won't be watching it much of the draft.. As for Gruden I like him on Monday Night Football but this draft stuff is useless for me..
Gruden was just a killer with the Tbay offense as well as the Philly offense :mj07: :mj07: :mj07: Worst offenses in the league.
Gruden is egotistical...not may coaches in the league that are not....but he knows a hell of alot more football then you and i as well as these kids....
