It's been a tough couple of days, but gonna try one more day.

One I really like....

HALLANDALE BEACH - RACE 9
#9 COZY KITTEN - Lightly raced, but this one appears wide open, and Ward can have them ready off the bench. Like the work pattern, and any improvement would put this guy in the mix.


Also, there is a $1,000,000 yearling purchase in the first for Pletcher.....interesting to see how he does (out of dam Madcap Escapade if anyone remembers her)

Race 1 - Pick 3
1 with 2,5,6,7,8 with 1,6

The million dollar purchase is going to take a lot of money in this first race, but I think the 1 NINJA BLADE is going to give these guys more than they can handle.....He is beat in his first start by Holy Bull winner DIALED IN, and in his last effort ran a strong effort to finish second behind runaway TRAVELIN MAN.

Race 5 - #11 PEARLICIOUS - Threw an absolute clunker last time, 12-1 ML and opens up at 7/2 and the favourite. Starting to creep back up, but positive sign to see Lopez retain the mount and class relief may be enough to get it done.

Well, I guess it's better to be lucky than good...It had been a pretty bad weekend at the track....until the second to last race of the weekend at Gulfstream.....I get my single in the first leg of the pick 4 and get a $22.80 horse home in the second leg....then comes the 9th - the favourite whom I did not use wins, but the stewards put up an inquiry for interference. It lasts forever. They disqualify the 8 and put up my 7 who pays $26.80.....Setting up this.......
