Are you guys insane?? Gus Johnson is AMAZING! He does this every game and has no bias other than whichever team does something great.
Heaven forbid he goes crazy...as he always does...when a team hits 14 out of 15 3-pointers.
I guess you guys would rather hear Mike Patrick and Len Elmore. Have fun with that. I love Gus Johnson.

You obviously had the sound off during todays broadcast if you think he is unbiased.
Mossberger always gets gushy over whichever team is ahead. He is a poor analyst. Uses way too many superlatives and always seems like he already knew whatever was going to happen in any game he was working. How they can give him so many accolades is beyond me. He is terrible, IMO.
I normally think Gus can be fun to listen to and I would agree when a team is playing as well as Ohio St. did today they deserve some love. I guess it was a little hard to swallow since the team I root for was getting their ass kicked and the repetative coments rubbed it in.
LOL...I could not agree more with TDjesus...First of all i am a Wisky fan and Gus Johnson is THE BEST announcer in college hoops hands down. He has an awesome voice andso gets in the game and does an awesome job. Some of u automatically go to the(he bet on Ohio St shit) bullcrap...Bottom line is he is the BEST.
If Gus Johnson and Dick Vitale ever called a game together on the radio you would have a difficult time deciding if they were calling a basketball game or as two of the participants in an orgy.
The best announcers complement the show, they are not the show. See Nantz, Kellogg, Rafftery (after the man to man thing). The best colloge announcer I have heard this year is the woman analyst on ESPN. She knows what she is talking about and you learn something. I already know that Ohio State is SUPER, SCINTILATING and SPECTACULAR without hearing it twenty times a half.
And I didn't have a play on the game.

I loved Vitale for years and realize that the only team he likes more than UNC is Duke....and the main reason for that is b/c UNC had a couple down years.
I love Raftery and Gus Johnson isn't far behind.
Musburger has gotten to the point the last several years where its just sort of fun/funny to listen to him in a different way. I've said before, he's sort of become a caricature of himself and its funny to see who he bet on and how he calls the star player by first name as if he's known the guy for years, etc.
There are announcers that you don't even really notice and some of them are good. There are many others that can literally make or break a game...some are great and others are downright awful.
