Definately a sad thing to hear. My prayers go out to his family.

BUT...

Committing suicide IMHO is cheating life and cowardly. He will leave his family with more problems. I feel bad for the family.

Is it OK to share his handle and the other forum so we can take a look?

That's awful.

It's like they say, "... until you know somebody..." Hard to believe it can get so bad.

So. Cal
Sad news, prayers are with his family....

this should be fun and hopefully financially rewarding...NOT SOMETHING THAT RUINS LIFES. If anybody ever feels this way, please get help and please wager within your means. As bad as it may get or as bad as you may feel, it's 100 TIMES WORSE for those that are left behind.

If we could get some info, I would think that the community would come together to help this family out...

Sadness

Sadness

Addiction,Endorphins released in the brain,Like when we were kids an got our 1st base hit(smile ear to ear) or scored our 1st goal,As adults for most of us who have gotten away from games (Due to mortgage, job, kids, bills, living, Like myself and others) look for other ways to replace those good time feelings, Gambling,Alcholol,Drugs,Sex,
easily without some sort of network(family,friends,doctor,co-workers)YOUR OBLIVIOUS TO YOUR OWN DISEASE
Myself, family members, friends, and a large population of this country has one addiction or another that can take its toll through out a family system,Dont be an enabler,If you can,and its a hard step, Confront a loved ones problem
God Bless Mom an children

to respect his wifes wishes, she asked to not be contacted nor to have anyone here do anything for them nor said she would respond to anyone. I know how you feel, id love to help out in any possible way, but when she has closed the door, not much you can do except to help someone here right now that possibly might be going down the same path as he did. At this point its about future prevention

They are talking about Hunter S. Thompson there ageecee. Sorry to hear about this. This habit of ours is like a non-physical extreme sport where alot of us push that edge and god help those that go over.
