Above the Clouds....
This whole weather thing in the middle of April is depressing. We usually have flowers some where. You just get that feeling like you want to go to bed and wake me up when it's over.

all of our soft mast (apples, peaches) and hard mast (acorns, walnuts, hickory nuts) were nipped last week. No fresh peach pies and apple cider from the orchard this year. Squirrels will also be hungry this winter and probably have a big mass migration like 3 years ago and a considerable die-off. :com:

Tornadoes sirens been going off all night along with the Power.

I almost had to Read a Book!!

That sucker hit about 3 miles from my house. We got power back about 4:00 this morning. From what our neighbors heard, 1 tornado on I-20 and Winscott, 3 tornadoes up around 121 and the airport. No hail at my house, how about yours?

i was at a bbq cookoff in de leon texas when that storm came down. clouds looked freakin mean, the temp dropped very quickly, then the sky opened up and spit mothballs at us. I took some photo's. i'll try to post them in a few days.

I will trade the hail for all this rain we are getting. I actually have a sump pump running in my back yard. Im fighting like hell to keep the water out of my house.

Then is it the Rep. Party telling me that the refineries, and supply and demand BS is responsible for the price of gas as it is. When the price per barrel is less than it was a year ago.

Lost my huge tree in front yard. Just walked outside and there are 5 trees down that I can see around me. Police and Fire sirens going off all around me. I got in the pantry when I heard the storm trying to suck the skylights out of my kitchen. About to go around the neighborhood and check.
