It looks like a war zone over here. Trees and branches everywhere. Power is out on Hulen from I-30 past I-20. I bet the winds were closer to 50-60 at my house. Fences down, huge trees down and flooding is what I am seeing.

I hope you had no damage, lived in Kansas my entire life and those hail balls look like pingpong balls to some I have seen over the yrs. Ten yrs. ago or so I got stuck away from the house and had a softball size hailball on my drivers side seat that had come in thru the back window, cracked the windshield and ended up on the seat, that might have put a nice lump on head if I had been in the car!!! I was in the vault at my wife's bank at the time and we never drove her Grand Prix again, just towed it off for good. Tornadoes almost a daily

Weird... I did the same thing. Woke up from a nap after work. Rushed outside at 6:15 to mow the lawn. Half way done with the front yard...then came the rain...and did it rain! Wind probably in excess of 50 mph. Tree branches everywhere.

Just got my power back on this morning. I agree winds had to be 50+ at some point last night. Lots of trees down around my house. Lots of rain. Mowed the yard Sunday so probably will have to do it again soon. Sounds like everyone made it thru safely.

Was on the lake and got off and home in a nick of time. Got the boat in the shop and the truck in the garage right as it hit. Got knocked in the head with a large piece of hail and knocked the sense out of me. Started thinking global warming was a Democratic conspiracy or something. Was nuts.
