okay... here we go!

BOST hit 7 of 9 3's, hit over 51% from the field and came back strong after going down 18. They looked in mid-season form the way they stayed calm and just got back into the game. With that all said, I still like the CAVS to win at home. CLEV was the best home team in the NBA last year and we get a push IF they lose by 1. That to me is worth a stab. Doesn't hurt that BOST picked up some Technicals, as they could easily get another and be gone. Would lean to the Under as they ran early, but CLE is mostly using half court sets and BOS won't hit as many 3's in 2H.

Not messing with Cavs all year. Alot of chemistry issues to get kinked out. I also think defense takes time to gel.

Boston is going to win the title, IMO...too many mismatches and too experienced.

IMO, books gonna make alot of $$$ on Cavs home backers this year.

WASH shot 52.6% from the field, DAL 42.9% so if we can get that turned around we'll be in good shape. Tons of fouls and FT's so far, which favors DAL as they are better from the stripe. Also, nobody is making threes 2 of 13 between them.

We are now getting an 8.5 favorite at -2 for the game, at home and a better team. Granted they didn't play like it, but I'm thinking missing Jamison is a bigger loss than missing Howard for DAL. Also, since I'm expecting a HUGE comeback from DAL, it stands to reason that the game goes OVER. DAL is not a great DEF club, so if they are to pull this out, it will be by outscoring WASH. With so many calls, and what I'm expecting to be a close game by the end, I'm liking the OVER as in OVERTIME if necessary.

Now, down by 4 in CLEV.... need to get that WIN in to start the year out right, then MY LAKERS baby! :0corn

I know I'm a LAKERS fan...

but the CLIPPERS came to play tonight. LAKERS still working out the rotations, and with GASOL out, I just don't think the LAKERS have it in them to put the CLIPPERS away. Would have loved to watch Griffin play tonight, but it's an exciting game just the same. Lots of TO's for both teams, they are shooting about what I thought they would, so I look for more of the same in the second half. LAKERS may pull out to a big lead, then give it back as they so often do...
