Lakers successfully dictating the tempo in the 1H. Phoenix (with no inside presence as usual) taking some bad outside shots, but because they've had more shot opportunities, managing to stay close. Phil put an emphasis on playing "D" for this game, and it's playing out in LA's favor thus far.

Lakers turned over the ball 11 times. But getting better shots and getting to the charity stripe often. Think LA will continue to play good "D" and will be fouled a lot in the 4Q.
