Halftime Team - Monday

I cannot believe what I just watched... the HOU/PHILA has to be the worst NBA game ever played. As sick as it was, PHILA should have actually covered the 2ND HALF number. I'm not crying about this, I'm embarrassed I even played this game except for the UNDER before tipoff.... I KNEW it would be ugly, just not this ugly.

ROCKETS shoot 32% from the field and win by 8! What is that??? PHILLY looks terrible and since when did AI start NOT SHOOTING?? I watched him on numerous possesions have the ball and drive and dish off as opposed to trying to get the foul. In the end, he has the ball in his hands, and our PHIL 2H bet is totally resting on his shoulders, and he PASSES again@!!! WHY??? Why not pad your INDIVIDUAL numbers like you normally do??? HOU is up by 8, they aren't gonna play that tight, you can drive down the lane for crying out loud. Instead, he throws the ball over his head to the UN-suspecting rookie who just came into the game, but he throws it where he thought the kid was going, which turned out to be towards the basket and not back, because like the rest of the world, HE THOUGHT AI was gonna shoot! It all came down to that last possesion and instead of giving us one glimmer of hope, he SELFISHLY passes it away for a turnover and ruins it all....

Another note to this pitiful game:

VAN GUNDY is gonna burn out this team. After a DOUBLE OT game yesterday, he still had his starters in the game at the end of this one again!!!! What is wrong with this masochist??? He's gonna end up getting someone hurt, :nono: and screwing himself. Mark my words... he did this last week when he was blowing out his brother's team MIAMI and his starters stayed in despite up by 20 or so, and he did it again tonite. HOU led the entire second half by double digits, no need to keep in all the regulars when the game never got in question. After most of his starters played over 50 minutes yesterday, only to lose, he left every one of them in for at least 36 tonite.

Not a good practice if you want to stay healthy for the playoffs...

Taking the Over 96.5 in the DAL/POR game! I see Dallas pushing the ball in the second and they only way POR can stay with them is to run. Also hoping for a few free throws to help the over.

Both of these should be huge plays!!

DAL OVER 195 was my favorite play of the day and I was hoping PORTLAND would hang with them and get to at least 95 for the first half which has happened. PORTLAND has not been finishing a game on the road yet this year, at HOME, yes, vs SACTO, but not on the road. This team will get blown off the court by DALLAS in 2H of this one. Only 11 FT attempts the whole FH, many more pts will be coming from the charity stripe later in this game, so look for a much higher scoring 2H, probably at least 110, and DALLAS to win by 9-12 before this one is OVER...

FINLEY, DIRK, NASH with 13 total pts and you still have 46 at the half??? Pleasse..... only thing PORT has done is REBOUND, and they dominated the boards 29-14. BUT, I don't think it will be that way in 2H... MAVS will adjust, and once they take over the boards, PORT will be history....

Good luck!! :D

Ok... I'm done for the nite. I'm sick... I cannot watch another game tonite, so I'll be passing on the last game. Just remember, it's UTAH, and it's setting up like another UTAH / OVER scenario for the JAZZ. They are very tough at home period, but have been terrific in 2nd half of games this year, and other years too. Don't know what the line will be, but take JAZZ and OVER.... don't read too much into it, just play it!

As mentioned, I had BOST and UNDER in the game that just finished, and BOST misses their last umpteen shots from the field, turn the ball over, etc and I lose that play. I had BOS +2 and Under 175 and I end up with a push and a loss in a game that I'm leading by 16 at HT and only need 83 pts after a 92 pt FH....

Come on... give me one break tonite. I know, I won with the KNICKS 2H, won the ATL OVER, but lost 2 DOUBLE plays on PHIL and ATL. 2-2 and down 2.4 Units is not good... especially since my game plays are now 2-2-1 and DAL is not looking so promising...

Tomorrow's another day, I'm turning it to MNF and watch that game. See if SAN FRAN can figure out how to screw me out of my FH play on them....

Lets try the Magic again. Maybe they can get their second win of the season. They always seem to play good first half and then fall apart 2nd. Think they get it done tonight. This is a must win for them, otherwise they are in deep trouble on the season.

uth/orl

uth/orl

I'll take utah......generally a good shooting team not shooting well...harpring 2-7. Outrebounding Orl.......all they have to do is win.....I'll take that anytime.......-6 for 3 units. Would lean under, but if utah's behind.......well you know.

I really want to take the Magic +6
But that means they have to win the game.

They also shot 18-36 in the first half from the field.
And they got killed on the boards 25-16

Looks like one and done for the Magic.

If they don't hit their perimeter shot could be another loss.

Passing - Up 2 sticks tonight. Take it and go.
