WASH hasn't been playing well lately in any game in the first half, only to make a torrid comeback late to either win or make it close. With them being a 1.5 FAV before tipoff, I like the value of getting them at +5 now at HT. NO reason to think they won't come back on BOS who is one of the worse JECKYL/HYDE teams in the league. I am expecting a comeback by the WIZARDS which will lead to a close finish and lots of FT's late to push this one over....

In the ORL game, I think TOR will play much better in the 2nd half and VINCE will want to get his against younger cuz TMAC... I don't see TOR making a huge run, but making this one respectable and staying within 8-12. Because I expect more scoring from TOR, I see this total going OVER the HT number. The closing line of 195.5 would need 104 to get there, so I'll expect them to get within 6 or so....

Wow...

Do I feel stupid or what....
I can't believe I didn't notice that... all I saw was that he wasn't the leading scorer, I should have looked more closely at the stats. That makes a huge difference obviously, so even though I can't take back my wagers, I'll apologize to anyone who followed those plays if they lose. I do believe I would have passed on TOR and played Under with that information, so hopefully it splits at worst!! AGAIN, sorry to anyone I mislead.... too busy watching BASES and HOCKEY!!!!

Since I'm expecting a huge comeback by NJ to possibly win this game, that would require them to outscore ATL by 15... given that even ATL can score 40 pts in a bad half, that would make NJ score 55 to win. I'll take my chances on the NETS coming back big time!! My take on this one is NJ will tie this up or be leading by the end of 3, and then play their game the entire fourth, and ATL will be just there to pad the stats.

FINAL: NJ 96 ATL 95

In the DET game, I can't see these two clubs hitting 50% from the field again... NO WAY that happens... CHI is too bad, and DET is just not an offensive juggernaut... look for a second half reminiscent of the ole BAD BOYS...

DET outscores in 2nd half, 44-40 to make the final:

DET 97 Chi 87

CLIPPERS -3 ** DOUBLE PLAY **
UNDER 102 * Single Play *

I like the CLIPPERS second unit to be playing a lot this 2nd half and they will make up a considerable amount of this huge deficit vs the MILW 2nd group. Most of the CLIPS are still playing for jobs next year, and they won't give up. MILW won't hit near the 53% they did the FH and CLIPS will only improve slightly. They do most of their scoring on turnovers and D, and will get back in it on hustle.... probably late! :p

FINAL: MILW 104 LA 94

2-2 so far..... THANK GOD!

Got the WASH game by a point and for whatever reason, ORL didn't play the 4th and allowed TOR the back door cover... Neither game approached the OVER, which may be something to consider later today and the rest of regular season... how much rest are coaches going to give regulars as the playoffs approach... may see more and more 2nd half UNDERS as we go along... :D

NOW, I just need NJ to keep coming on, and I'll be fine....

PORTLAND +.5 *** DOUBLE PLAY **
OVER 93 *** TRIPLE PLAY ***

I love the BLAZERS to come back in this one.... SPURS can't play much better, and BLAZERS can't play much worse. PORT will want to make some kind of statement in 2nd half in case they meet up in the playoffs, so look for them to come back in this one strong. I'm expecting the PORTLAND rush to push this one over the total as the game gets close late, and FT's come...

FINAL: SPURS 94 Portland 91

HORNETS UNDER 93 * Single Play *

Don't expect too many regulars playing too much in 2H in this one... CLE may come back a little, but not enough to scare NEW ORL at home. They walk away in the 2H of this one, and win by 12 in a low scoring 2H.

FINAL: NEW ORL 100 CLEV 88

THE PORTLAND GAME HAS BLOW OUT WRITTEN ALL OVER. THAT IS WHY YOU SEE THE SPURS -1 WHEN THEY WERE ONLY AN 8 POINT FAVORITE. NOW THEY ARE A 13 POINT FAVORITE. WHEN THIS SITUATION OCCURS WHEN A FAV IS WINNING AT HALFTIME AND THE SECOND HALF SPREAD THE FAVORITE IS FAVORED TO WIN THE GAME BY MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL LINE THE FAVORITE USUALLY COVERS. EXAMPLE JUST LAST NIGHT THE KINGS WERE A 9 POINT FAVORITE AND THEY WERE UP AT HALFTIME BY 12 AND THE SECOND HALF LINE WAS A PK. THEY ENDED UP BLOWING OUT THE SONICS.

TAKING SPURS -1 BIG!

thanx Tony .. gameday started it @ 90.5

i did not make a play as Houston played yesterday and scored 66 points in the game ..

but expect them to shoot better in second half than 25% ..

Good luck on the Over. Waiting for better opportunities. :)

Just came back from Watching the Leafs beat Philly with Anthony, Rhon and co. :)
