to be sincere, I think your reasoning is wrong, people tends to love the chalk, so, if you have a chalk 1 point less, any regular joe will love it, thats the logic on this thing, maybe i am wrong but i think the money they are looking for is money of the spurs

You're most likely correct. I don't play half times too often.

A lot of these half time numbers also depend on who the books need to lay off game bets on. Maybe they have a ton on Detroit for the game.
