if youre still around, you have an opinion on butler on friday? figure maybe you can offer a local opinion. the rebounding edge for indy scares me, but something tells me butler will give them major problems with their methodical offense.

SOS that means help and strenght of scedule to everyone who thinks that MWEST IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOLLLLLL AND SOOOOO GOOOOOOD....I'm sorry but this is how I feel this year, MWEST is mediocre AT BEST and CUSA could take them down....

SOS means help in the MWEST beacuse I have a feeling that if you're not on the GT ML against UTAH in which CSU beat Utah your going to be hosed (just my stupid opinon about MWEST this year)

after watching the truly pathetic defense of navy and colorado state, i think it will be refreshing to see some defense from teams like utah and georgia tech. its amazing that navy's defense has 11 guys on scholarship and its amazing colorado state's defense has 11 guys on scholarship. that was like watching a nintendo football game. utah and gtech are much better all around so it should be a solid game

um, that was a former navy player who played in the secondary that said it was the worst navy defense in quite a few years. he felt csu would move the ball all day long.

he was right.
problem is, csu's defense was worse.

i will say, congrats on betting while a currently playing a sport at the D-1 level. thats brilliant. well, not that soccer counts as a sport. but still. you have to be mighty boneheaded to not only be betting but posting on a forum. you gotta be smarter than that man. good call on navy tonight. but is 909 dollars worth jeopardizing a lot more?

I was actually just looking at this game....Indy giving Butler a TD......I think this could be a good spot for Butler. First of all, it is at Conseco which is in Butler's hometown so any and all butler fans that want to go to this game will have no problem. Secondly, IU just played a very emotional game at charlotte.....that was a game they have had circled since the "mircle shot" charlotte hit after the buzzer last year in bloomington to beat them. Thirdly, IU shot the chit out of the "3" ball against charlotte (13-23)....don't know if they will be able to duplicate that against a sound defensive team like butler who is good at shortening the game and limiting the change of possessions. The only thing that scares me is what you mentioned......the inside presence and rebounding.....but for some reason, this game has a feel like the Indiana State game.....If I can squeeze out another point in this game, I think I'm going to take a shot on Butler.

thanks for the opinion. have seen butler in person a handful of times. they make it very tough on teams to get out in transition. but the whole rebounding thing is what freaks me out. i can see butler playing great defense all night but put-backs by killingsworth scare me. you do bring up an interesting point about the indy state game because it could very well be that kind of game. also, i think butler has played at conseco a few times in the last couple years so they shouldnt be overwhelmed. again, thanks for your opinion
