No one that was eligible for the HOF got enough votes and the closest to getting enough votes to get in today was Craig Biggio? WOW!!

Those who haven't gotten into the HOF like Lee Smith for one, should get some veteran votes sometime before this guy pushes up daisies!! Not many closers had his stuff and he didn't have very good set up men before him either, with the Cubs, Cards or whomever he pitched for. This guy was a workhorse and threw heat and signed by former Negro league manager and Hall of Fame Scout, Buck O'Neil!!

I agree Bonds should be in. He took my horrible Pirates to the playoffs three times. Although he sucked there.

I don't understand Biggio. I think 3000 should be automatic for guys who weren't looked at as users. 150 hits a year for 20 years seems pretty amazing to me. Plus he played for the Yankees he would have been voted in without a thought.

Yeah, me too, I can't back Barry, I saw him play in HS and at ASU and for the Buccos, not a good character guy and "bad actor", he needed an "edge" to stay in the game and he will pay for it by the time he hits 50!

Biggio will get in, in the next 2-3 yrs, first time on ballott and a good # of votes - all the "accused" PED users didn't get even past 55% of the votes which is a statement to them, even Schilling, the finger pointer!!

If Pete Rose can't get in and he admitted to what he did, how can those clowns get in? Whistle blowers aren't always liars!!
