Hall -3 over Nova
Hall is on a roll having won 7 straight.They are on top of the BE in defense and guys like Whitney and Sweet have elevated their game.Nova is 5-5 in last 10 games where the Hall is 8-2.Both teams think they have a shot to go "dancing".
Nova is still prone to TO's.Jason is out but Nova had Sumpter come off the bench the other nite to score 20 pts.Buchanon is steady and Wright is tough inside.Nova plays a 3gd offense vs Halls 3 fds.No post players on either team.Allen,Barrett and Whitney have all been on fire.
Hall is playing better defense and Barrett just takes over a game in the last 3 minuts.Hall is 11-3 at the Continental.Hall is undefeated in Feb.
Manhattan -2.5 over Siena
Jaspers with Jackette back and Kono hitting the outside shots have some solid perimeter shooters.Throw in Flores who does it all and its hard stopping Manhattan.Holmes inside will have a tough time with Haddix and co.Karawanga is so inconsistent.One nite he looks like a future NBA player and another nite looks like a bum.Siena is a good rebounding team.But Flores should be able to penetrate and go to the line 15 times.He'll shoot 13-15 and that should just be enough to win this close game.Siena's ats record is 3rd out of 233 teams at 15-6.So not a big play.
Furman -6 over NC Greenboro....Furman is on a roll winning 4 in a row.They play well at home.NC Greens best shooter is their coach Fran McCafferty.That tells you something.Can't play defense either..Paladins win by double figures.
