To recap: Rangers to acquire Cole Hamels for OF Nick Williams, C Jorge Alfaro, RHP Jerad Eickhoff, and at least 1 more player.
It ain't happened yet and possibly won't happen.
LHP Matt Harrison is also being shipped to Philly, Dieckman is not in the mix, Harang could be.
Mets also denying deal with Milwaukee for Carlos Gomez.
Angels also heavy on Hamels, Angels don't have the prospects the Phils want, so that has been shelved.
Latos deal to Dodgers also needs approval by MLB and pending physical to Latos.
I'm sure more to come tomorrow and early Friday.
Braves/Dodgers in a big 3 way deal possibly with LHP Alex Wood going from Atl to Det, Price to LAD? Nothing confirmed either on that one, just the rumor mill of the two dipshits for Fox and MLB networks, Rosenthal and Heyman working the phones.

Yes, Deickman goes to Texas. That makes sense, he had to clear a physical but passed.
I like the Phils getting Williams, he needs to take more pitches though, he has a very quick bat and can play any OF position. Phils also looking to move Dominic Brown and Darin Ruf, thus far no takers. Cody Asche has been subject of talks too, but Andy McPhail doesn't want to let him go, thinks he can make conversion to 1b a position he's played in JC ball before heading to Nebraska. I was hoping Phils would have gotten Joey Gallo and put him at 1b where he belongs.
