Im a big user of Mad Jacks, especially the free picks and football boards. Ive been looking around for some horse racing boards with the same kind of action, say 30-50 new threads a day, but havent been getting very far. Are there any other horse racing communities or handicappers that you follow?

Ive looked around some, newsgroups, a few boards but havent found a really large, tight conglomeration of handicappers yet. I appreciate this one and am on the lookout for as many top quality resourses as I can find. Not really interested in the typical forum that gets 5 or 6 total posts a day with no real interaction.

Any input on your opinions and experience would be appreciated.

You might try Major wager. There are several interesting`cappers there that have a lot of good input on things like the Derby, general `capping strategies etc. Some of the names to watch for example are Inside the Pylons,T.A.,Holy Bull,Seattle Slew,Beast,Raisencain,Rockingham, Gradysfalcon,Dennis, Turkomen, etc. They seem like an interesting and intelligent group, who welcome newcomers interest in horse racing, and there is a lot of good comeraderie.

Give it a try.

You know what seems nice about Mad Jacks? Nobody gets flamed. Differences of opinion are treated as just that. Sharing of info is encouraged and people seem willing to listen to another point of view. That's rare around the net.

I agree with what you just said. I also frequent pace advantage, I read it mostly and post very little because they have very thin skin, but alot of handicapping knowledge.

Thanks. I think as the availability of live racing on TV and easy gambling access continues, there is the potential for some large interaction with similar players who are handicapping the same races.

Dogfish, Ill start taking a more active approach in the near future, still feeling my way through the style I am going to favor.

Do any of you share PPs and such? I have the last several days of the Racing Form at Hollywood Park.
