Braves laying the wood
I'm thinking LA is still checking if all the bolts are tight tonight against a pitcher that has been a bear to them in the past.
off the net...
In his past five starts at Dodger Stadium, dating back to the beginning of the 2001 season, Ortiz has gone 5-0 with a 2.43 ERA. During each of those contests, the veteran right-hander, who grew up in the L.A. area, has had a multitude of family members in the stands.
this one I like here...off the net....
Ortiz hasn't lost any of his past 10 starts, dating back to June 27. He was fortunate to keep that streak alive when he got a no-decision, while allowing the Cardinals six earned runs in five innings, last Sunday in Atlanta.
Tells me he stubbed his toe already.
Pitching matchup
LA: LHP Kazuhisa Ishii
11-6, 4.64 ERA in 2004
0-0, 1.50 ERA vs. ATL in 2003
0-1, 7.71 ERA lifetime vs. ATL
ATL: RHP Russ Ortiz
13-6, 3.46 ERA in 2004
1-0, 0.00 ERA vs. LA in 2004
7-6, 4.80 ERA lifetime vs. LA
more off the net...
Ortiz is 5-0, 2.06 in his last six road starts. Braves are 7-2 in his last nine road outings.
Ishii is 0-1, 18.56 in his last two home starts.
Like a monster Atlanta team here coming off a close lose with those numbers above against an LA team that got a gift win against a bad road pitcher in their series with FL.
by the way
I've had a few drinks already today....alrtight...more than a few.....but I F'n KNEW the Cubs Over was stealing...no $$ for me:cursin:
busy F'n talking and sipping and looking at some FINE Polish TAIL :cursin: :cursin: meanwhile I'm out drinking money to say the least.
$100 laying my locals line on the Bravos...most likely $130 or $140
(may bump that play up if I like)
GL JACKERS :Yep:
