Hammer says he likes the card this week. At the top of the list will be PHIL (taking 3 at the time) against Wash. He notes that there has only been one sweep in this series in the past 18 years. Wash is 0-3 after Dallas, they don't have a TD pass to their WR's yet and their coaches are fighting.

Hard to make any play on Philly from what Ive seen of that horrible team. Mcnabb has been stuggling and now he came out and publicly said: its not all my fault" in the media. Normally Id also like the Eagles here but they are finding ways to lose even when they are the better team. Hopefully they come out and play sharp for you. It could be a good spot for them. Best of luck

THIS WEEK:

TENN - 4 Play is TENN, but will be a PASS if Garrard plays.

BUFF - 3 BILLS covered 6 straight vs Miami, 6 straight overall & are 13-4 ATS. Negative: BUFF is a young team & next week's game vs NE has been moved to prime time, so it's a possible look ahead situation.

KCITY - 3 Broncos lost last 3 @ KC, home team in series is 9-2-1. Den is 2-14 ATS & is a mess.

PITT - 9.5. The line will probably go to 10. STEELERS are playing good, especially R'berger. Cleve missing 2 "O" linemen. Likes the OVER, too.

ATL + 4.5 May only be a year away from respect.

PHIL + 3 (See above, but check stat about the 18 year sweep, may be ATS, not SU). Wash 3 "O" linemen out.

MINN + 6 Tough game, lean only............to go against a fellow capper.

CHIC - 3 Big game for the BEAR. Oak is 3-23 last 26 vs NFC and is 30th vs the run.

NYG + 1.5 "D" is much better now than when they mey in their first contest of the year. Eli & recievers starting to get in a groove.

DET + 1.5 Their "D" is starting to play good & they play the same type of "D"as Tampa, who stifled Ariz earlier. Warner not 100%.

SD + 3.5 Indy has a lot of missing pieces after last wek.

SEA - 10. Can't take SF as they have 20 straight games without passing for 200 yds.

ESPN SUN: Looking for PHIL & ATL for sure. Then it's probably CHICAGO.

The 18 year streak is SU, but only one sided -- the Eagles have only be swept by the Skins once in 19 years or so (2005 off the top of my head).

I understand his logic but don't see any reason to invest money in the Eagles right now.

Thanks, Blackman. I didn't look it up due to time constraints. Someone usually reliable mentioned to me that it wasn't SU, so I posted what I did. I guess I misinterpreted what Hank said..........I thought he said/meant either team for the series.
Still, I don't think I could back Phil either.............not enough offense for me & McNabb is palying lousy ball. (etc., etc.)

Being from outside Dc and a 45 yeqr Skins fan I must correct the sweep stat. Sportstalk radio 980 just recited that the series has been a sweep in like 6 of the last 7 years w/Philly sweepinfg the Skins like 5 times and the Redskins w/one sweep of the series. This is easily checked but Im 2 lazy.
