I will do what I can to get the thread out this week. I got caught up in Wilma late this past weekend, haven't had power since Sunday nite. Phone service is sporadic at best and lost tap water for a couple of days. Lost part of the roof, patio/pool area is a mess, no screening anymore & the patio beams separated from the house along with the gutters. The whole city looks like a bomb exploded. Winds were 110-120, and even tho it semi pales in comparison to this year's Katrina & Rita in Miss & Louisiana, it was pretty scary nonetheless. Just got done waiting (standing)10.5 hours in line for some gas ! Anyway, my family and my pets are all OK, therefor I am also.

So, I'll try to be resourceful for Hank's thread this week. I am going to have to coat-tail somebody(s) for Saturday & Sunday as I will not have the time or the computer to do much for myself.

Glad you,re okay Hitman. I,m in Davie.All of Broward Co. pretty screwed up.At least I got power back last nite.
If they get the gas situation squared away, it won,t be so bad.

Thanks guys............still no power, Tonypro, from what I read, you got it worse than me. Glad UR OK, too. Went to the neighbor's for a hot shower tonite(gas HWH) and it sure felt good. I am tired of jumping in the filthy pool !!
If you are really stuck for gas, let me know, perhaps we can work something out...........although on tonites news, it looks like there are 10-15 stations opening up as genertors & power become more available.

Didn't get the picks this week if there were any. Hank was doing the Breeder's Cup & wasn't on at his 2 usual times.
Power is still out here, so that means no cable & no ESPN............Anyone care to post Hank's Sunday plays for us ?
Luckily, my dish is intact and I can get all the games I want.
Note on the dish: I have had this thing for 13 years now with Direct TV. This last storm, Wilma, was pretty strong. I put it up corectly back then.............and for all of the folks that think it has to be adjusted all the time, etc. I can say that with all the storms & hurricanes to come thru here in S. Fla, I have never had to adjust it one iota. Not once. And I never took it down in preparing for a storm. Kudos.

Thanks for your concern & the grrrrrreat offer, Tonypro. My mom in law has power as of Friday, so I,ve been taking a shower there. The beer sounds great, tho, maybe at another time. Just too much to do here, just too much. Got the generator goin & Publix is open, so I am OK. It's nothing a few winners today won't cure !!! A couple of local gas stations are open, so no more 10 hour waits for gas. Now if only thr insurance company would answer the phone...............and the roofer...........and the window repair guys.............you get my drift. Thanks alot, again.
