Hank didnt have a lot of firm convictions about this week's card.
He was 3-7-3 last week.

BUFF-Hou giving up 30 ppg on the road. Also likes the over

PHIL/NYG Pass----------with a lean to PHIL. whose D has given up 17 or less 4 straight.

CLEVE/ARIZ Pass. The under , if anything.

K CITY-lot of wise guy money on Cinn. Early $ on Cinn, now $ on K CITY. Takeaways will be the key to the game.

CHICAGO-Rams arent the same team on grass. Nobody has beat CHI by more than 7 since they changed QB's.

WASH-lean only.

TENN- Hank give Jax no shot at all.

MIA/BALT -sees a low scoring afair with a possible FG deciding the contest. Under 34.

ATLANTA- line is a bit high, seeing that ATL is 18-1 their last 19 trips to N. O.

NYJ- small lean only

DENVER- lean to DEN with a play on the over.

GBAY-doesn't like Tampa giving points

DET/SEA-Pass. Possible under play.

MINN/OAK-Pass

N ENGLAND-likes them alot in the "Tuna vs. Tuna Helper" game.

SF-Hank thinks SFwill be able to run the ball. Their pass rush is in tune now. (Conflicting trends: SF is 1-11 as a fave last 12, but are 13-3 the last 26 MNF games.

More upsets on the way?
By Hank Goldberg
NFL Insider

Last week, there were some stunning upsets. Teams that were on long losing streaks had some outright wins. Can they continue?

The Daily Line
Washington is at Carolina. The 'Skins beat Seattle last week at home. While the Panthers are 7-2, three of their wins have come in overtime. If this game hits OT, you can't win giving up 6?.

Jacksonville shocked Indy after coming into that game having lost six of its last seven. The Jags ran for over 200 yards. They won't this week when they face Tennessee. I would give the 10?.

Atlanta gave Dan Reeves his 200th win after seven unsuccessful tries, shocking the Giants at the Meadowlands. The Falcons are 18-1 ATS at New Orleans and are getting 9?. How much faith do you have in trends?

San Diego was 1-7 and ambushed Minnesota. Can Doug Flutie repeat? Jake Plummer returns for Denver, but laying 8? is a little rich. Still, the Broncos were 37-13 winners at San Diego in Week 2.

Here's an interesting handicapping tip. In their last six games, the Colts have given up an average of 165 yards rushing. That is, with the exception of Miami. If the Jets can run, they can stay within six points.

Miami faces another tough defense against the run when Baltimore visits. The number is now 5?. Both teams will be trying to run. In what figures to be a low scoring game, the Dog figures.

If the Monday nighter stays at San Francisco four over Pittsburgh, you might consider that the Niners have covered one of their last 12 as favorites.

Early Picks: Buffalo -7; New England -4
