LAST WEEK 8-4-1
ESPN 3-2
SEASON 16-10-1
Well, it was a bad,bad week to start an Anti Hank thread as that must have gotten the mojo going for him as he was 8-4-1 with last week's picks.
This week's choices:
ST LOUIS--To run it up a bit on Tenn.
PHIL--to win & cover. Killer early schedule for Oak. Will not wager on the game, but will recommend the Eagles.
CHICAGO--10-2 vs AFC competition. If they can run, they will stay with the Bengals. Good D,for Bears while Cinn defense is giving up 5.5 yards per rush.
JAX-- JAGS had 6 sacks vs. Indy last week and their D is still strong, even without Darius. Jets are 12-20 as a home fave vs. non division foes.
NO/MINN--PASS. Note: NO return man is out.
CAR/MIA--PASS on sides. Miami is 4-13 ATS last 17 at home. Carolina 9-1 on the road. Carolina to run & get the passing game going a bit. 3.5 a bit rich vs. Miami at home in September heat. Carolina not dependable as a fave. UNDER
INDY--Cleve just can't keep up.
BUFF--a lean in a low scoring contest.
GBAY--Tampa hasn't won there in the last 13 trips to GB. GBAY has a bad D and didn't have a sack last week. Hard to dind a reason to take GBAY. Bucs only have given up 80 rushihg yards in 2 weeks............GBAY & Farve to get it together.
SEA/ARIZ--PASS
PITT--Patriots 8-9 ATS last 17 on the road, while PITT has won 11 straight home games. NE has 4 D backs banged up don't ook the same. PITT O line playing as good as anyone.
SF--Cowboys 2nd trip west in 3 weeks. Bledsoe comes up short again last week, par for the course. Parcells gives too much loyalty to his old players.
SDIEGO--Get the ball to Tomlinson. Giants going west after Mon. nite game. If SD loses, their season is done and he thinks they are the better team.
KCITY--CHIEFS 20-14 on Monday nites while Denver has a losing record on those nites.
ESPN picks , as usual, are a guess, but let's go with more than likely INDY (? if it goes to over the early 13 or so) and probably ST LOUIS, CHICAGO, PITT & SDIEGO.
More later if I hear. GL..............THE HITMAN
