Let's put your (everyones) extreme political convictions aside for a moment and look at the MANCOW V. HANNITY Waterboarding situation. Was I mad at Bush about Katrina? I don't think so, but you never know. It was definitely an emotional time around these parts, even for those of us who didn't lose our homes to the flooding. Still, I don't recall getting on him about Katrina. W was a stubborn SOB, and this was my major criticism of him. W made mistakes. In retrospect, the the invasion and occupation in Iraq was wasteful in terms of $$$ and lives, without making us any safer. I would say this was a bigger mistake than anything he did, or didn't do, with Katrina:shrug:

In the last election, I donated to Ron Paul, but I easily voted for McCain. He 'had me from hello' because the extension of the Bush tax cuts, up to and including the estate tax repeal, are beneficial to myself, my children and my extended family. Beyond that, I have great deal of respect for McCain stemming from his heroic past. That said, I would have voted Ron Paul if he'd had any opportunity to win.

I wanted Ron Paul. I'm not crazy about Obama. He is doing okay though. I'm just hear to mock the Bush supporters who have the nerve to give Obama a hard time. Fuck them.
