I had my thyroid removed on Monday, and yesterday we got the pathology report back - the cancer was completely encapsulated in the nodule and had not spread, so that was great birthday news. I am now awaiting to hear whether I will need radiation treatment.
The husband is taking great care of me, and I am enjoying a quiet birthday glued to the couch. I think the kids made some gluten free brownies for dessert... :0074

I had read about your surgery on facebook, but did not want to mention it here for the sake of your privacy. Just wanted to say that I'm so glad to hear the good news, and am hopeful that your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. My best....Jack S

sorry to hear of this....glad to hear that the prognosis is very positive....
a young oncology doctor that appears on t.v.also had a bout with thyroid cancer...her name is cynara coomer.....here`s her story....

her prognosis is also good...not quite as good as yours,but apparently good....
seems like a very nice woman...i wonder if she might answer any of your questions if you visited her at her facebook page(being that you`re both beautiful blondes and all)
