The 5th of May is a Mexican Day of Mourning. It goes back to the Titanic. The ship was carrying 12,000 gallons of Hellman's mayo, then manufactured in England, that was destined for Mexico after its stop in New York. The Mexican people loved that condiment. We know the outcome and the Mexicans were saddened to the po...int that they declared May 5th a national day of mourning. It is forever known as Sinko de Mayo.
