What I witnessed, john totally outcoached the "better coach", and his brother, jim.

Baltimore was better prepared.

Baltimore made less mistakes.

Baltimore attacked sanfrans weakness better then the opposite.

But the big thing to me was the usage of timeouts....how do you not have your qb prepared to just call a audible if he is uncmfortable rather then burn a timeout....

I don't know, I am wrong a lot, but from what I witnessed, john was clearly the better coach....

Anyone else think different?

And btw, I think we should all get ready for these two coaches/teams.

More so sanfran. Think this team is way to talented and athletically they are freaks.

My guess is that its like lebron james.

Make it to a championship in your confrence.

Make it to a finals and lose.

Learn a shit ton from both times, and then come back and win it.

Kaepernick 16-28 302, rushes for 62 yards and a TD playing in the biggest game and his tenth start. i don't know, i gotta cut him a little slack no matter how well the coach prepared him. He called the time out. i'll take the good with the bad, even if it isn't perfect.... :0074

Agree totally. Not only did Jimbo get out coached during the game but also before. The Ravens came in loose and confident and that showed by taking a 21-6 lead into halftime. The Niners were tight and serious and that also showed in the 1st half.

The Niners will most certainly be back and Jimbo will learn from the experience.

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
San Francisco (and not my Packers) was my "team to beat" for the Super Bowl this year, although I went with Baltimore(+4') in the Super Bowl.

No question they are still a team on the rise.

San Fran is also in what is shaping up as a tough division, especially if Arizona can find a quarterback. My hope is that next season the Forty-whiners get bit by the curse that has been the fate of recent Super Bowl losers.

BTW, Jim, about the same no call was the right call on the close coverage against Roddy White that ended Atlanta's hopes in the NFC Championship game.

A good read: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nfl--harbaugh-family-tree-branches-out-to-comfort--celebrate-jim-and-john-in-emotional-super-bowl-locker-room--072418426.html

John outcoached Jim...SF will be contenders for many years to come for sure...

Their division is suddenly one of the best in the NFL, Seattle will make some noise next year..

A 5th grader could have figured out that those time outs were brutal and a penalty would have been better. Both of those are 40 precious seconds at end of game and SF would have gotten ball at about midfield. You know that in high school, college and in your first NFL start. The playcalling in the red zone for San Fran was horrible. John outcoached Jim in this one.

Agree totally with taking the good wit the bad. It is a learning curve for sure.

Kap is a stud. Athletically gonna be a freak.

But I still don't know why he isn't prepared to call an audible? That is the most basic thing for guys at that level.

Like I said I don't blame him, for your exact reasons, he is so young and only his 10th start.

That is why i think coach harbaugh(jim) needed to do more to have him prepared for every situation.....I mean that is pretty basic....don't understand a play or like a defense, call one of your 40 running plays and save your timeout.

I dunno I'm probably way off but think jim shoulda went over every single situation in practice, ecspecially that one

100% john was better coach and baltimore was better team

Just my opinion of course, and only my opinion for last nights game, but I really think they were better prepared.

I would say sanfran would win 6 out of every 10 and they are the better team, but baltimoe has beat em twice in a row now

Perhaps baltimore is just better.

Jim outcoached himself. He should of had his qb running from the beginning. Something doesn't look right about John's wife. Is she sick?
