Harrison Smith and the Vikings made a great deal, Smith becomes the second highest paid safety and Smith could have asked for the highest considering his age, by the time Smith's contract expires he will be in the middle of the pack $$$ wise for that position, nice to see this get done with a player getting paid and not straining the salary cap.

He had to step up to play linebacker his junior year and was a run first safety on a bad 2010 defense that let up a lot of big plays. He played outstanding for what he was asked to do.

2nd best safety - another couple years under his belt with zimmer. Has a chance to be hall of fame caliber. He is that good
