ist of all happy birthday to all the fathers out there and those dads we remember .. Took some pictures out this morning looking at all my fathers pictures ..There are maybe 75-100 pictures of my father wearing his yankee hat.And in every picture he wore his hat above his head,on top I can't believe I never ever corrected him and told him there is a hat size you don;t have to wear it sitting on top of your head. If a wind ever came by it would blow away his hat. My wife and kids always made fun of him when he wore that hat but I don't think other then us talking about it behind his back did anyone ever say " dad the hat is made to sit in your head not on top. " And a question I would have liked to ask is "how many times did the hat blow off your head". This morning picture after picture and he has the hat on sitting on top of his head.
I have his Manhattan College ring and his yankee hat in my office and not a days ever goes by when I don't touch it and think of him. So happy fathers day dad and I know you have the hat on up there with St Peter in those clouds. But I Know the wind currents up there are a little stronger .. but every once in awhile when i look up to the blue sky and white clouds I'll peek to see if a blue Yankee cap is floating down.
I play fantasy baseball and know baseball more then any other sport. I'm in 6th place out of 12 teams now and in 20 years won 2 times in yahoo . Knowing facts and figures and players batting averages etc cannot help me handicap baseball I don't . I will play a few parlays with ace pitchers at home and have won a good share of those parlays
But Harvey is my stud. Just play against him because he the the worst pitcher in baseball.. When he came up with the Mets he had so much potential but after a few years he wanted a multi million $ contract. Mets traded him and to the Reds and now the Balt I don;t have the trends in front of me. His ERA 7.76 this year, His ERA the past few years is bad. I just take the -1.5 against him and he always gets bombed.. Then a few weeks Balt took him out after 3 innings not because he was bad that day but just to screw Vegas and people like me. Balt beat Minn and all those that just bet against Harvey lost.. So his next start I played it lightly and harvey got bombed again.
So today he is starting vs Tampa.. I think it makes no difference who Balt is playing..Harvey will get tagged and tampa or who ever will cover.. Although the Harvey train got derailed a few weeks ago think Tampa wins big again
Tampa -1.5 over balt -135 *****
moneyline is -240 .. but just hope that balt skipper leaves him in a few innings so the other team can get a 4 or 5 or 6 run lead.
