I will only watch this when it comes out on DVD. I don't do commercials.
I see this as an extended movie much like Game of Thrones.

(I hope they don't start this series with stealing a pig)

Above the Clouds....
I watched the first 2 episodes and it's tough telling which ones are Hatfields and which are McCoys???

Kind of drawn out with no real plot except people shooting people.

I don't know if I'll watch anymore.

I left it vague so there was no spoiling,
however I'm glad you emerged from your
cave to say something

I enjoyed it a lot.

Tom Berenger as Uncle Jim worked for me.

Powers Boothe, Costner and Paxton all did a great job.

Joker, record shows and then fast forward through the commercials. It's the American way!

Johnse McCoy professed his love for Roseanna McCoy as she was a very gullible woman and very young. He was a womanizer and after Roseanna's daughter of 8 months died from measles, approximately six months later, he married her cousin Nancy McCoy. Ultimately, Nancy left Johnse, professing to have him killed for not preventing the death during arrest for the murder of her brother, who was staying with them at the time of his murder. Nobody was ever arrested for the murder. Nancy ran off with bounty hunter "Bad" Frank Phillips shortly after the murder.
Johnse was arrested for the murders of the three McCoy brothers that were executed by the Hatfields. He also received a life sentence but was subsequently pardoned for "saving the Lieutenant Governor during an inmate uprising", and released. He then attempted to reconcile with Roseanna, who rebuked him. She quietly died of unknown causes within the month after her rebuking of Johnse. Johnse fled to Oregon where he married at least five more times, some say six. He did return to the Hatfield farm some years later to attend the baptism of Devil Anse. He is buried in the family plot.

Hope that helps,
FDC

I like K Costner and the cast but I tuned in sporadically and found it slow and without interest to me.

I watched it. I liked it at first but as someone said it was hard to tell the difference between the Hatfields and McCoys. Also after a few hours there was so much killing it began to lose it's shock value or whatever.
