The lines opened a few days ago and this could bring wavering opinions, the round lines havent opened yet, now could be a good time to discuss it.

I only have short blurb on this for now from the campbell/guzman thread, will expand as more info comes out:

i once said id bet malig as the dog vs hatton, that's changed since his dreadful pairing with mcgirt. this is a terrific opportunity to bet against mcgirt, hatton should pressure and eventually catch malig, while mcgirt gives terrible and non-sensical advice between rounds. i see paulie being confused and not sticking to any game plan, while hatton relentlessly pressures for a unanimous decision.

line is -280/+200, im hoping for a big play at -200 hatton

If the under is good enough id gladly take that, I can see paulie being retired after 10 or 11 rounds. He was very tough against Cotto, but this is a different kind of pressure, a physically exhaustive type with more persistent, but less punishing power. And we've seen McGirt fighters tire out and give up mentally under prsesure.

Hopefully its -330/+300 or so, otherwise Id wait for Hatton inside prop.

What the f**k Paulie was thinking with that ridiculous hair-do in his last fight was beyond all reason. He is in a boxing match and he can't see what he is doing! Beyond stupid. Buddy's guys are tanking big time as you stated. Paulie, in the right state of mind, could win by using speed and boxing skills; Hatton isn't the most graceful pugilist on the planet! Also we need to check Ricky's weight. If he blows up bigtime, it may spell trouble for him.

When the props come out I like Paulie by decision at +300 or more. Hatton can be outboxed and there is some slippage in his game over the last few years. Hatton fighting across the pond again. Paulie won't be standing in front of him to hold on to and wrestle when he's done throwing, he'll be on the move constantly. I'm not predicting a Paulie win, but I see value in the decision prop at 3-1

Yea, if Paulie has his mind right(Cool Hand Paulie) he CAN win. I agree and I feel the general public will be on Hatton due to perception and Paulie's dismal showing last time out.

im bumping this for those who missed the golden boy ppv card this weekend:

hatton was in the audience and looks like a human bowling ball, and just locked in his trainer last week. hes got 2 months to drop what looks like 40lbs, and learn an entirely new fighting style from a coach he's (probably) sharing with DLH, who is known to be catty and get his panties in a bunch.

i dont see how he can devote himself to an entirely foreign and complex style like mayweather's while he's got a massive mountain of flab to climb. to fight like a mayweather you need a lifetime of dedication.

paulie dec. prop seems like a sure bet here, ive found +290, hoping for +320ish

on a side note, Oscar is looking trim, and still has 2.5 months to make 147. that's great news for DLH backers. i plan to bet him huge.

if cotto couldn`t get him out of there,i don`t see hatton doing it....

i wasn`t impressed with malignaggi vs n`dou,though......he seemed to fade a little late...

and i didn`t know his nic was "battling bozo",....:mj03:

I see good value in Paulie @+220. He has a photo on one of the websites and he has very close cropped hair, a good sign he is getting serious about this. I see PM by decision here.
