guys.........99% of you never look at the CFL forum.....but let me tell ya...ya should.....some good cappers there.......I know two weeks ago there was a game that just stood out like crazy.....and it cashed.........some of you NFL'ers got in on the action..........

well.........there's one on Sunday (Nov 9th) as well.........

i think the only time i took interest in the cfl is when the rocket was debating between the nfl and the argos. (seems like ages ago)

in all seriousness, the level of play is better than most think. lots of borderline/fringe-nfl talent. i dont mind watching it. never had much success betting it though.

yes we play.........and I myself prefer watching the CFL (although I do like NFL and NCAA as well)

CFL has some cool rules wish I wish the NFL would adopt.........in the NFL that whole fair catch thing is so annoying......oh and the ever exciting "touchback".....gimmie a break

I like anything that wins me money. I would bet on hopscotch if I felt I had an edge.

I've never liked rewarding teams a point for missing a FG though. That's just mickey mouse. Also makes all key numbers in the CFL pretty much meaningless. +3? is not that much better than +2? in the CFL, but in the NFL it's huge.

on the other hand.........in the NFL.....if ya take a knee.....give up a point (like they do in CFL).........make it more exciting if ya saw guys run after a kick-off instead of taking a friggen knee....BOOOORING

also like how the CFL allows only one time-out per half......that 3 per half in the NFL and the dam 2 minute warning is annoying.....I mean come on :nono:


of course it could be like the NBA where there are 287 timeouts in the last 2 minutes



and as for the hop-scotch..........I got a good tip on a chick in my neighbouhood....she's tough........just need to check with my contact

If I'm not mistaken the CFL has a break with 3 minutes to go in the half, don't they? They don't call it the 3-minute warning, but they do stop the play....I think. Or maybe I just imagined it. In any event, I like the 2-minute warning. It just sounds so ominous.

The CFL also stops the clock on first downs, so there's no need for all the timeouts like the NFL has. You can march down the field in under a minute (played) in the CFL no problem. And you're getting a first down every second play or so, so the clock still runs pretty slow.

NBA - Ya, it IS painfully slow at the end, but I still love the game. Really sucks to lose Unders on it though when they put up 12 pts in the final minute, when they were averaging less than 4 PPM for the whole rest of the game. This is what makes NBA totals a b!tch...if it's about a 4-8 point game they foul and drag it out like crazy. If it's less or more, they don't...who knows???
