Dumbest shit ever let uncle sam win again..........
Sites name is the Motely Fool lol lil ironic thier name .

SO as others say they also say wait 8 more years to gain $400 per month more!!!

SO heres what's gained zilch
Because by not taking the $850 per month now UNCLE sam dosent pay you

$81,600 yup he's very happy :Yep:

SO is thier any Guarantees that millions will make it to 70?
NO! Now uncle sam realy makes out.

If 1 million people wait 8 years or less YOU think all 1 million are going to live to be 70 or how long after 70 will they live?
LOL wait heres the possible sceneario.you wait 7 more years happy 70th birthday YOU gave up $81,600 to get about $1300 a month now ..

so you would have to collect 5.2 years to cover what you lost then your in profits after that but now your over 75 yeras old and the cost of living is way higher.
BUT how many people live until late 70's or 80's in USA?

This is stupid waiting... YOU get a cost of living raise along the way even tho not much opnly about $15- $20 more per month..

whopieeeeeeeee extra meal at MC d's

SO add that up over 8 years 15$ more per month = $180 more per year X 8 years = extra $1440 now
your $80o per month now is $920 a month just under what the amx is waiting until 70 $1300 almost $1400 per month ..that not increased for cost of living thats where you start.
So make sure you wait till your 70 guys and girls make uncle sam richer and happier.

Cmon roll the dice what have you got to lose ........... only about $90,000 by waiting

Good read.

This is a little off topic but nice to know. Regarding SS if your unaware like I was, although I hope no one fits the bill. You can draw at age 60 as a widower, I had no clue until the local office called me up after I had applied online to DC (I guess). My ex-wife passed away 5 years after we were divorced, and neither one of us had remarried. Bottom line was it cost me 2 years worth, about 40K, that I could have really used at the time. On top of that I was able to draw about 300.00 more per month than if I was to draw off myself; I don't know why because she never worked as much as I did. Furthermore, they also said that when I reached maximum age I could switch over and draw off myself and the benefit would be even more; so I'm not burning up my own by drawing early.

SSA was really nice to work with also and very understanding. I didn't have a copy of our marriage certificate (lost in Katrina), we were married in Gibraltar while I was stationed in North Africa, it was British territory at the time, and I think it belongs to Spain now, so no way I was going to get another copy. So they just verified some other info I guess and had me bring in pictures of wedding, etc. I was really sweating the bullet but it all worked out fine. Just thought this might help someone you know down the road. Big Uncle can be a lot more helpful than people think.

I can't blame anyone but myself for not knowing. I'm sure I'm not the only one that made that mistake and just occasionally try to get the word out when the opportunity presents itself. I'm not so sure it's that well advertised anyway. Maybe the powers to be feel that they don't need to encourage anyone to knock off their ex. With all the crazy stuff in the news today I'm sure it could happen somewhere. I read somewhere where someone kept their elderly parent buried in something in some rental/storage place for about 10yrs. Unreal.
