I found the play selection in the 4Q embarassing. Shame he took it that level. I knew he was whiny, but I had no idea he was that much of a prick.

Cie,

Maybe I'm wrong here but didnt JJ take a few pop shots at the SEC and TT for Hiesman Trophy to help promote Hawaii and Colt.........Hope they enjoy their trip the Fla. next season.

Georgia did rub it in their face to a point, but hell the Bulldogs have been taking shit since this game was announced. I didn't see Hawaii stop throwing or thrying to score with the game out of reach. Hell this was supposed to be BCS game, shouldn't need to call off the dogs, not like they put 60 on the board.

Hawaii had a nice season in the WAC, but if they played a SEC schedule I doubt they would have had a record to receive a Bowl Bid.

Good luck the rest of the Bowl Season, Cie!

Can I humbly take up for my dawgs here?

1. Jones made his statements and eventually ate his words.
2. #29's little antics didn't get the game started off on the right foot. That head-hunting hit was cause to get your leg broken.
3. Regardless of what the announcer was trying to preach, next year's pre-season rankings depend on this year's performance...especially your bowl performance.
4. I think it is contradictory to say the losing team is showing great heart by not giving up, but saying the winning team should take it easy on them.
5. If Cox throws a TD with :02 left on the clock, he can still tells his grand-kids that he scored in the Sugar Bowl. Once in a lifetime opportunity for these kids.

6. I don't enjoy the fact that we had two questionable situations this year as far as integrity goes: Florida celebrations and Hawaii game. I do not want my alma mater to get that reputation.

I agree with everything you said here and to add one more...

Did Hawaii try to stop scoring and/of playing?? What was Georgia supposed to do?? Take a knee every possesion? Hawaii was throwing the ball all around the field late trying to score and Richt put his backups in and a guy that was a starter that got injured earlier in the year and gave them an opportunity for a "shining moment".

Hawaii needs to keep their mouth shut and fly back home they didnt belong here nor will they ever.

How many inferior opponents has Haw run the score up on in the past few years?

Why shouldn't UGA backups be able to try to execute the UGA offense?

UGA put up 3 points in the 4th quarter - could have been 10 if not for the dropped pass on 4th and goal, but if the Dawgs would have kicked a field goal at that point the same people would be crying foul about that

And one last thing for UGA players and Richt:

It's nice to set yourself up for a run at the Title next year and all, but I can guarantee that if you don't at least win the SEC East, you have no shot at the BCS CH game -

count me in this group that has no sympathy for hawaii. burns makes a good point, how many 63-7 scores have we seen the next morning on yahoo sports of hawaii literally running up the score cause colt will be in the game for 3 and a half quarters or the whole game.

Hawaii got what they wanted, a chance to play with the big boys and show them what they could do. They had a good season but reality set in, and the fact is all this talk of "what more can hawaii do? they won all there games why arent they given a shot at a NC?" well how bout you schedule a team to play during your season first.

That's a good point. The 'Bows were asking for a long night with that early garbage.

Might be the worst game I've ever seen in every respect. Terrible play, insanely long and numerous commercials, turtorous delays, bad coaching, thug plays, just awful all the way around.
