Well, you beat me to it... I was going to ask the same thing. Got my head kicked in today, thanks to Fresno St., Cincy, UCONN and Notre Dame. Like you, leaning towards Hawaii for half and the game.
I have 11 beers left.....most of my NFL bets placed and am eyeing this game. I have two books, one at -13.5 and one at -14.5. Dont really have a feel for the game, but need something to do while I finish off a few more of those beers. I'll coattail someone for a small play if they can talk me into it

JDP, unfortunately it's the only thing I have to hang my hat on with the Barners since they've beaten us the last 4 years in a row. But it is pretty damn funny. :SIB

If it helps any of you, It.s raining pretty good here in Hawaii. I work near the stadium and it's been coming down for a couple of hours here. The wind, however is dead. Hope this info helps. Can't bet this one myself, can't seem to win on or against Hawaii.

As for the pick, I thought Irish did a nice job on his write up for this game. I agree with his pick of Hawaii less the points. Unfortunately, the spread has climbed to 14. Two touchdowns is alot of points for my beloved Warriors.
June Jones just doesn't have a history of running up the score on anyone.

I understand... while I know a bit about Southern Miss (Hattiesburg is a tough place to play and Bower always has a well coached/prepared team), losing to Akron at home sucks. But I was in T-Town when Northern Illinois beat BAMA back in '03. Of course, I was in Bloomington today to see the Hoosiers blow a 14-0 lead to Southern Illinois and get beat 35-28. Yes, that Division 1-AA So. Illinois.
could be wrong but isnt southern illinois one of the best 1-aa teams in the country? not excusing a loss to such an inferior team but you can make a good case that southern illinois could beat the bottom 20% of 1-a teams.
we beat app state.....they won the 1AA championship last year.....using Gmans logic, that puts NC State better than the worst 20% of 1-A. I feel better about our squad already!
you can be sarcastic all youd like. simply saying that losing to southern illinois isnt much worse than losing to ball state (which indy should have done last week).
