Heading out Mackerel Fishing this afternoon!

Heading down the Harbor to catch some Mackerel this afternoon with my son and do a little Squid Jigging for the first time.


Mackerel are running hard right now, should be a great time :00hour

I'm sure they are a hard fighting fish,but what do you do with them after you catch them? My father used to cook mackeral in our kitchen in my youth and the smell alone was just terrible.

Grabbed four with a lot of hits, they put up a nice fight. We'll cook them up for supper :0074
