Whats your age? I live here. Lots of great places to eat eat downtown and tons of bars but things are split up by ages
Oh gotcha! I am 32.. I usually go to small little bar for called the mad hatter for happy hour.. kind of the locals watering hole, $2 bottled beer and well drinks until 10.. but at night you definitely need to go to Bar South and Allgood... what kind of food experience you looking for? Cheap or more formal?
Athens downtown hopping area is basically 4 blocks wide by 5 blocks long. Try Last Resort Grill, always good food and right in the heart of downtown. My favorite is Five and Ten, which is right in Five Points. Amazing food and pretty much new specials every night. They were about to move to their new restaurant, so not sure if it has happened yet or not. Chef Atcheson is highly acclaimed and has one in the ATL as well.
