heads up....army/navy weather advisory...

looks like the east coast may get alot of rain this weekend...maybe even snow......and the academy game is being played at lincoln financial field in philly......i believe that this is a natural grass field......

i posted what i considered a nice play,buying navy down to -21......now,with the weather forecast indicating a good chance of considerable amounts of rainfall (with a grass surface),i may have to step back a bit on my projection.....poor field conditions could tend to mitigate the effectiveness of the navy ground game....hate laying 21 on an off track....


if anybody has anything to add regarding the playing surface,the forecast or anything of note regarding this game,please feel free to weigh in.....

The Link is grass - and I just heard on a local forcast that this weekend the Philly/NJ/NY area is going to get dumped on - either snow or rain depending on the temp.


Army at +22 is interesting if this surface is going to be sloppy.

i was thinking the same thing......looks like this field may be a mess on sunday,too....unless the forecast changes....

The grounds crew at the Link will be tested, that's for sure. If Army and Navy mess that field up and the weather is as bad as being forcasted, that field will be very very sloppy on Sunday.
