have you ever played pro ball or coached in the minors or college well i have, and yes there is a reason behind it,its called burn out for no reason, they will get work in then take a seat because they are up so many games, its better to go 5 maybe 6 innings if pitch count is low then to give them a day off, this way they stay sharp but are well rested come sept i am quite sure in fact i know i know the ins of baseball from the inside not as a fan. who says its a concern its a heads up because they will be bringing in aa guys and a few aaa but not to long because then would have to pay them ml contract. so you will see in late augs and early sept cheap runs at times you just don't grasp it do you.
it can lead to a blowen under late in game they are not going to throw the same bp guys eveyday for the next month and a have you can expand roster soon and you will see young pitcher getting lots of innings before it comes time to send them down. they have it locked . and will have home field tied up with in 3 weeks then just watch .
this has nothing to do with win lose fade it has to do with low totals and laying -250 on glavine or maddux then he is gone in 5 up by a run or 2 they will be on a srick pitch count ahed or behind because the only thing that they care about now is well rested arms and legs. i fuking give up. your the expert i can't spell it out any better.
