If you really want to jump start the weight loss I would suggest going on an Atkins type diet for 10 days. I lost 13 pounds simply by cutting bread and sugar out of my diet. The Atkins website has tons and tons of recipes.
After that work whole grain oats and fiber back into your diet but stay away from sugar.
A subscription to Mens Health also helps.
Most of all dont keep junk food in the house. Go shopping and only buy healthy snacks.
Last night we had ground turkey meat with whole wheat pasta and sugar free 0 calorie marinara sauce. Add a few onions and garlic and its just as good as the regular stuff and none of the fat.
