Thanks guys, hope some of you cashed besides freelancc and Wilson.

Man what a night. I had four friends over to watch the fight with me. My best friend, based on my wager, layed down twice as much as I did, and I was a little uncomfortable with it as he really could not afford it. And his wife was here also which added some stress to me.

But when Tyson tried to twist McBrides arm and then got two points taken for the intentional head butt, I knew the fight was in the bag. Thats the same thing that happened in the Holyfield fight and it meant Tyson had lost it again.

When the towel was thrown in, I think we woke up the neighborhood with our screaming.

Went out to brunch this morning at a nice hotel. My buddy paid at 50 bucks a head. We drank alot champagne and I am not feeling so hot right now.

Just a few comments for a few waysayers. I can't help myself.

Tyson was winning, ahead 57-55 on two scorecards and behind by the same score on a third.

And that was with the 2 points deducted for the intentional butt.

..................................................................................

This is why I made the Tyson by decision bet for 100.
It would have covered my plays.

Man you edited that just in time. :mj07:

A long time ago when I first met you, you faded me for quite some time.

Then after awhile you started losing the fades.

It was at that point that started not to doubt me anymore. Then all of a sudden its 2005. Say it aint so Joe !

No kidding though, I consider you a friend.

Scott, you did save my ass on this fight. You have been kicking the man's butt in boxing lately, so I backed off of my initial bet on Tyson by TKO.

You are right about the early fades. It actually only worked for a couple of TITFD bets. After that... well... you know the rest of the story :)

Congratulations again on a great pick with McBride by TKO.

I congradulated you in Off The Wall immediately after the fight, do your homework before you pop off.

I was right about McBride being a horrible fighter with very slow handspeed and limited skills.
I was wrong about Tyson having enough left in the tank to beat a scrub as bad as McBride.

Unfortunatly, out of the 6 fights I wagered on this week, Tyson-McBride was the only fight I capped wrong. Very frustrating to lose money when 5 out of 6 fights go the way you expected. Thats what I get for laying heavy wood on a Tyson fight. However, now some idiots will think McBride is good and it will set up some cash when he gets blown out in his next fight (ala Danny Williams)

I'm still up HUGE for the year, and had an excellent week of capping so no worries here at all.

Like I said, I posted a congrats in the forum where this thread belongs, sorry I didn't post it here.
